Doris Hammond, Ted Hammond’s widow, and her family, presented a check of $700 from The Ted Hammond Fund to The Junior Jazz Foundation’s representative, Lois Masteller.  Ted, who played bass with us for several years, requested donations to our Society which initiated The Ted Hammond Fund in 2005.  The Junior Jazz Foundation will direct the contents of the Fund to assist a young bassist in his/her education.
