:Welcome to our newest members

Dick Fithian and Al Cox demonstrated some spectacular interplay between trumpet and flugelhorn…well done gentlemen. Mel Slotnick performed his very first vocal on “The Music Goes Round and Round”.  Bob Heidrich dedicated his own vocal version of “Basin Street” to The Jazz Corner.

The Mardi Gras edition of our Dixieland Jam was packed and we apologize to those dozen or so folks who couldn’t get in the door. We also had a record 29 musicians interspersed between the three bands.

Herb Schmidt sat in with his banjo.

Photographed with Ted Druhot, we were very pleased to have Bob Schanhals and his tuba join us again.
